Greetings dear readers,
Long time! If you know who cyber-bibers are, I must tell you that I have been one the targets.
For those who don’t know, let me tell you. Cyber-bibers are people who abduct you and prevent you from writing your blog, and meeting your blogosphere friends.
I’ve managed to escape though. 😛
(Just speaking. Been really busy. But here’s my another post, and I’m sure you’ll love it.)
We all bloggers, have always written a diary at some point in time. Here’s one memory I get when I think of them. (Straight as I wrote. No editing done.)
Do leave me your thoughts. 🙂
DO YOU STILL?
Do you still, write that diary,
About how your day’s been?
How you made those mistakes,
Had fun with friends, and learnt a new lesson?
Do you still, sing those songs,
The ones you dedicated,
Or rather dictated,
Have they changed like the wind that was last summer, or the year before that?
Do you still, remember?
It wasn’t the summer, but winters that hurt the most,
Awaiting, a warm fire and nothing but a toast with your favorite cup of coffee?
Do you still, make those virtual coffees?
Those lovely ones, with hollow centres full of creams,
Bringing home, icy dreams?
Do you still, have that snap?
Your friend snapped,
Once, before we snapped.
That’s been trapped, in a diary,
Have you still read?

Awww what a melancholic piece. I wish I still wrote that that diary consistently, but i have sadly become a lazy writer

That’s what inspired me today. Somewhere, I believe that our blog has taken up that place, a bit less personally.. Isn’t it?

I think it”s a good question for people to ask themselves, and a fine way to describe introspection. “Am I still…” is a question I’ve had occasion to ask myself.

That’s right! We often end up in situations, where we don’t understand what should be done. That is the time when we need to ask ourselves about the same, Am I still?

*no edits* … yes I still write a diary/journal every day as I have since I was a teen. They are really for no-one at all but I love diving like Alice into one of the long ago and faraway volumes from time to time. Your poignant poem touched my heart ❤ Thank you so much for following me … I’m flattered that you want to and I’ll try not to disappoint 😊

Most interesting thought. I had saved all of my diaries dating back to when I was till a child. Then my life unexpectedly changed in August when I lost my husband. I am no longer writing diaries because I put all of my thoughts and emotions in my writing and poetry. However once I have the chance to change my life around I will perhaps start writing in a diary again.

Oh gosh, that’s quite a bit.
And somewhere, it’s true for all of us. Sometimes, it’s painful to look back. Better move on. Or think something else.
Also, our blogosphere is very kind. It’s a space that diaries used to take up, but in whole different perspective. What say?

My magical diaries still exist from my early days of ritual magic, but it has been some time since I have done any real magical work. I will light a candle on solstice.

Oh goodness! So yes, all of us have definitely had a magical time in our life. That’s somewhere all compiled in an even more magical diary, probably lying in oblivion.
Thanks for being here! 🙂

Not ever been a real diary keeper, but I do journal from time to time. I find it therapeutic and sometimes deeply cathartic.

We all need some solace, and in your case it’s your journal.
Isn’t it surprising how a quiet, non living journal can be of so much more help than humans themselves?
