So, another beautiful summer morning, Dear Readers!
Now that I’ve decided to make a come back at poetry, here is one where I’ve re-programmed myself, and have begun a series of poems with various poetic forms.
Today’s form of poetry is a sonnet, with the prompt of Music.
Always, she’ll be here in my heart,
Her presence is itself a bliss,
Like the lyrics of a song.
You gotta be a superb flirt,
To train the fingers on the keys,
The old Piano’s waiting for long.
Strings, of violin, they blurt out,
The only tune they miss,
The drums too, beat along
The Notebook pages, they encrypt
The flutes sing in a hiss,
Her passion for life, so strong.
She isn’t seen anywhere, anymore
Though she’s the beat of the heart!
