Caution, Before You Dive In!

Hello, dear readers, after a long time. Have been busy; didn’t get enough time to catch up. Though Blogging 101 is on it’s end today, still, in my attempt to catch up, here the day 9 assignment; that of being an avid reader and a neighbor.

So, last when I had time to be here in the blogosphere, I had read of Maria Holm’s blog post, A Letter To Desire. You too, can have a look at it, at https://mariaholm51.com/
In her post, she has raised one very essential and touchy topic of teenage life: falling in love without reasoning it out. Ah well, Maria, I totally agree with your opinion of asking questions to oneself before taking a step ahead.

Sensibility diminishes as one approaches his desire. And I don’t just mean a relationship desire or that being with someone, I mean desire in a sense of ambition, Success. People, often in their blindness to be successful, forget their ethics and values that have made them what they are. And well, when you are on your way to a destination, you can’t always be wearing the same dress that you started with! But wait! This doesn’t mean that you throw your very own guide, who had lead you the entire path!

Sometimes, desire drives craziness into some people. And that, to such an extent, he is unable to understand or rationalise his deeds. In such cases, self introspection is a necessity. Often, we keep pointing out others’ mistakes, when rather we should ourselves strive to be better.
Rest assured, a human has his set of intelligence, and cannot be perfect in all aspects. Desire, I say, should be the motivational force, the driver, but not the main head, the controller of one’s actions. People who work with a sound mind are always found to have an exceptional control over their senses, their desires.

What do you think? Do give in your feedback over this. Thank you for reading! 🙂

  1. Yes there are people that get blinded because of success and sometimes they make irrational decisions but I guess that’s normal because they will also learn something once they realize their mistakes 🙂

This is a nice post by the way 🙂

    1. Indeed, humans learn from their mistakes. But I was once told by my professor, that life is too short to do mistakes and learn from them. We should, instead, learn from others’ mistakes to save time.:-D
Thank you for your generous words! 🙂

  2. I agree. We need to be balanced: mind, body, spirit, and maintain our principals at all times. Thank you for your blog. BTW , I love the title of your blog. It’s the “anti-establishment ” title that shows modesty and assertiveness. 😀

  3. I like your post and understand what you are saying. Thanks for your advice 🙂

I have a suggestion which is not about the content but something else: You can use link t the posts when mentioning other bloggers. I mean you used link for the inspirational blogger’s homepage–now instead of doing this if you use it for a post it will generate a pingback for them and they will know you mentioned them 🙂

    LOve and light ❤

    Anand 🙂
