Assignments are meant to be late, yeah?:-P Ok, this one’s that of yesterday, with an Elegy form of a poem. With the prompt of flavor, nothing can beat the flavor of nature. So does my poem. Do have a read!:-)

Delicious Dew
Ever tasted the delicious dew of the morn?
The breeze, the chirps and fawn?
Walks in the park, with sun at horizon
Continuous chatter of the white pigeon
Purified air, greenery everywhere,
How I miss the scenes so rare!
The park now exists no more
My cherished childhood, it bore
That park was much savoured by me
Instead now, there isn’t a tree!
Oh! What has become of humanity,
Destroying, Cutting, Recklessly.
Thank you!
Wow..very visual…I was there with you,the beautiful morning š
It is very sad,how the earth is been slowly destroyed…great poem š

Good, albeit rhetorical theme. Excellent short poem and composition of thoughts…the way you build up, the concern in end hits the right chord.
May be sentence ‘4’ continuous chatter…could have sounded bit more poetic…don’t know what though. And, the word ‘instead’ ….
š ignore me. Great poetry.

Great poetry on a very relevant theme.I love poems relating to real stuff, real issues; I’ve lost many trees of my childhood too. It’s a shame. The poem is epic.

Shame! I feel the next generation will miss that special fun amidst all the gizmos, concrete…with few real trees to play with!
